Mālama Mauna ‘Ala :: Hawai‘i Maoli :: Helping Hawaiians to Build Strong and Healthy Communities

Hawai'i Maoli is overseeing the restoration of the Royal Mausoleum at Mauna ‘Ala. This historic location houses the burial sites of all but two of eight monarchs of Hawai`i and their families and closest confidantes. The $2.2 million restoration project is supported by donations and funding from the State of Hawai`i, Hawai`i Tourism Authority, Kamehameha Schools, Charles R Bishop Trust, Queen Lili`uokalani Trust, private foundations and individuals.
